What Are Business Stamps?

Business stamps are custom stamps that print your company name, address, signature, logo or deposit details in a single impression. Offices use them to endorse checks, sign payments, address mail and mark documents without writing the same information by hand. All of our business stamps are self-inking, so they're ready to use out of the box.

What Types of Business Stamps Does Check Depot Offer?

We offer self-inking endorsement stamps in two layouts, a check signature stamp, a small name and address stamp and custom self-inking stamps in small, medium, large and X-large sizes. We also carry a self-inking stamp refill for keeping impressions sharp. 

Can I Add My Business Logo to a Custom Stamp?

Yes. Our custom self-inking stamps can be personalized with lines of text or with your logo, an image or a signature. Text capacity grows with size, from up to 4 lines on the small stamp to up to 7 lines on the X-large stamp. Our name and address stamp also offers 10 easy-to-read fonts.

Do I Need an Ink Pad for a Self-Inking Stamp?

No. A self-inking stamp re-inks itself between impressions, so there's no separate ink pad to buy or keep inked. Our custom self-inking stamps produce 55,000 or more impressions between refills. When impressions start to fade, a self-inking stamp refill in black, blue or red restores them for up to 50,000 more.

What Is the Difference Between Self-Inking and Pre-Inked Stamps?

A self-inking stamp holds an ink pad inside the stamp that inks the rubber each time you press it down. A pre-inked stamp stores ink in the stamp surface itself. Both skip the separate ink pad. Our business stamps are self-inking, which makes them a good fit for quick, high-volume tasks like endorsing a stack of checks.

Can I Use a Signature Stamp on Checks?

Our check signature stamp has a 2 ⅜" x ⅞" impression area sized for standard business and personal checks. Whether a stamped signature is accepted depends on your bank's policy, so confirm with your bank before using one on checks. Many businesses pair a signature stamp with their business checks to speed up payment runs.

What Information Should Go on an Endorsement Stamp?

Most businesses include "For Deposit Only," the business name, the bank name and the account number, which restricts the check to deposit into that account. Our endorsement stamps come in a basic and a popular layout, and both make bank deposits faster than endorsing by hand. Pair one with deposit slips to keep deposits consistent.
